The Victoria Inn is truly one of the last "full service" inns in New England. From the moment you walk into it's beautiful and tastefully decorated foyer, you realize you are in for a treat. The inn keepers, Stacey & Kamil, are wonderful and it quickly becomes evident that this inn is their avocation. Every detail is looked after.
We booked the Victoria for our wedding dinner, as well as the Inn for our guests to stay during their visit. Each guest was greeted with fresh, homemade cookies, in a meticulously prepared room. The service given by all staff members was first class all the way.
Our dinners were a cullinary delight, to say the least. The wedding cake rivaled that of the finest bakerys. We planned a brunch the following day and yet again, our senses and taste buds were delighted. A repast of French Toast Creme Brulee, Maple Glazed Bacon, Shirred Eggs, and Chocolate Covered Strawberries, just to name a few. Most of our wedding guests regretted that they filled up and couldn't eat more...
We hosted a Tea after our wedding ceremony, or more precisely, Stacey hosted a Tea for us, and it couldn't have been more elegant. Custom blended Hot and Iced Teas, Sparkling Waters, elegantly decorated, Mini Cakes, Pies, Cookies and Finger Sandwiches adorned a magnificently decorated table, to include two Strawberry Topiaries. People are still talking about this!
The Victoria Inn's presence and Stacey & Kamil's creative process, provided the "WOW" factor that we were looking for in our wedding celebration.
If you are looking for a romantic get-a-way, a week away with the family, or a place to host a special event, I would highly recommend The Victoria Inn. Stacey and Kamil are a delight and will take great care in providing you with a occassion to remember.
Every guest is treated as a creme de la creme!
