We decided to go try out a new destination this year for our annual girls get away and boy, are we glad we did! The White House Inn is a charming place to hang your hat and Belfast is small enough to not be intimidating but big enough to find new things every day of our vacation!
The Inn is elegantly decorated and yet still very approachable. Diana, the Inn keeper encourages guests to enjoy the whole house and as a result we got a few new book titles for our summer reading lists and quite a few laughs playing Rook around the table.
Diana makes a lavish breakfast appear effortless. We were impressed daily as she served us such elaborate breakfast delicacies with ease. If only we had more days to enjoy breakfast time while we were there!
Breakfast was also a great time to compare notes with the other guests and even have Diana's expertise while planning our activities for the day. Had it not been for the recommendations from Diana and others over breakfast we may have walked right by Chase's Daily when we noticed it was a vegetarian menu, and what a mistake that would have been!
Overall, it was a delight to have spent time at the White House Inn and we are looking forward to coming back again hopefully sooner than later.
