3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2013

This is an older facility that could use a complete overhaul. It is like stepping back into the 70's. But the place was clean and the staff is very helpful. It is on the outskirts of Bangor near the Hermon line. Sort of an industrial area but handy to Route 95. I will stay here again.

Stayed here for a night before catching a plane at the Bangor airport. Room was clean, had a microwave & fridge and front desk girl was nice. The hotel has a pool and it was clean as well. I had no issues during my overnight stay.

Stayed here for two nites on a weekend before flying out of Bangor for a cruise south.

It wasn't that there was anything terrible about it, but it wasn't the cheapest hotel around and yet I didn't feel that it competed with those other ones.

My room was a double bed, with very little room to even walk around it. There is a small table and 2 chairs, but was so cramped it was hard to use.

There was no bar fridge, no iron/board no microwave and the sink was outside the bathoom(not a big deal).

While this hotel may have been updated, it still felt dark and dated. And though I am not really picky when booking a basic hotel, I know based on stays at other hotels in the area that for the same price or less you get more with others.

Found some of the staff to be very rude. Rooms were just average and smelled very musty. No screens on some of the upper floor rooms. I am not overly fussy but due to the poor service I will not be staying here again!

Great hotel for Canadians while shopping in Bangor. Continental Breakfast included, beds are surprisingly comfy and rooms are clean. It's not the Hilton, but it is compared to teh Howard Johnson across the street. Great stay as always and Barnaby's is right next door if you are up for drinks and dancing!

This motel was a good experience from check in to check out. Service people were very helpful, rooms were nice and clean with plenty of towels, wash cloths and etc. Cont'l Breakfast was good as could be expected. Overall it was a very nice, clean and people that worked there was nice, we would stay there again if we ever went back to Bangor. Price was OK for the time of the year that we stayed there which was Oct. 3rd and 4th, 2012

Room Tip: Its not the Hilton but it is a good place to stay
