We usually go to Texas Roadhouse or Longhorn for dinner when we visit but this time we listened to a family member that wanted to try Bugaboo Creek because they used to love going there when their kids were small.
That turned out to be a mistake. They don't do the Birthday thing anymore (my niece turns 8 this week, and they said no to singing to her. They said it was a corporate change)
It wasn't even busy, but we waited forever. That's something we are used to doing in Bangor, but usually when we have to wait it's because the place where we are is full. This place was half empty. They just didn't seem to have enough people.
The food was cold, and burnt. I'm not sure how you get both of things to happen at the same time.
It took forever to come out, and the portions were much smaller than the other restaurants we go to in Bangor. It smelled like it needed to be cleaned pretty badly too. It's old feeling and it smells old. I'll chalk this up as a failure and just go where I know my money is well spent in the future.
My cousin was embarrassed saying that it "used to be so much better, I'm sorry."
A real waste of time and money.
