“Below average”

Went in here for lunch and although it was busy and we had no reservation we were able to get a seat by the window. Views are get but it goes downhill from there. Service was pretty slow although the staff were friendly. Food presentation needs worked on. Wedges that came with the burger tasted like they had been microwaved. 1 of my party had the chicken enchilada. Probably the wrong description as there was only 3 pieces of chicken in it. This was pointed out to our waiter and his response was "Oh right" and that was it. I would have expected at least an apology. Left without any other drinks or a desert and didn't leave a tip. There are better places to go in the ferry.

“Don't!!!!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 12, 2013

Went recently for a wedding. Bar service slow. Meal was tomato soup...sweet and hardly warm. Main was ''steak'. Served again barely warm with soggy diced potato and a poor looking salad. No proper chef would have served this meal. Was offered another 'steak' but refused in fear of another disaster. Thank god for fish and chips served as 'buffet' otherwise a stop at McDees to sort hunger pangs on way home! Waiter visited table once with wine when other tables were visited three times! The day was lovely but no thanks to venue. Orocco Pier needs to get itself sorted. Stayed for two days at a wedding the previous month and service was slow but food very good. Staff need to be more aware, tune into their cusromers and provide quicker service. Could do so much better. Views from place one thing but need to back it up with the real stuff guys!! Wouldn't go back through choice.

“Dire service”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2013

Went in for drinks. Staff friendly. As we went in I overheard an irate customer say "can we get some service here please?" So should have realised. We ordered a juice and a black coffee. Gave up after one reminder and about 40 mins in the place and left. Was fairly busy and quite a few staff on but they clustered around the bar talking to some guy with an earphone on. If he was a manager, there wasn't much evidence of anything being managed professionally. Had poor food there before and thought we'd give them another chance. Won't again.

“Wonderful views”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2013 via mobile

After wondering around the beautiful town of South Queensferry taking photographs on a cold March day, we decided to pop into Antico for a warm drink and some lunch the views of the Forth are amazing and I imagine would be really nice on a summers evening when you would be able to sit on the terrace.
Food was ok nothing special, far too many onions on my steak roll couldn't taste the steak! Puffy chips were delicious.
Lovely atmosphere nice place to spend an afternoon with friends.
