“Great food & southern hospitality! Gotta order the bread pudding!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2013 via mobile

First of all they have moved just down the street. 115 cotton is not the right address. Im sooo glad we saw all the cars and realized they had moved just down the street. This place was packed on a Thursday at lunchtime with locals. Everyone knew everyone. We had a couple of friendly locals sit with us and we met Kayla and the mayor! We have not watched Duck Dynasty, but were told their gift shop was nearby. The food was great and people were awesome. The bread pudding is wonderful!

“Kayla's Kitchen for Lunch!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013

Kayla's is a great place for lunch in West Monroe. It's location in Antique Alley is very convenient and Kayla and her staff are friendly and courteous. I have lunch there regularly and I highly recommend it.

“At Kayla's, they know.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2013

Being from Lafayette means I know good food. In West Monroe for a disaster recovery conference and looking for a choice from ten restaurants within close distance was my first exposure to the name Kayla's Kitchen. What I found was a simple restaurant that was simply perfect. The selection of entrees and side dishes is impressive. The waitress was friendly and fast. The food was excellent. Including the drink, tax and dessert was an unexpected benefit. I don't think there is a better value for $9 with great home cooking and a choice of rolls or cornbread that never saw the inside of a bag or package. I'm a fan. Kayla's knows how to make a visitor feel like home.

“Amazing home cooking and value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2013

Best thing we found was to ask the locals were they eat..They didn't tell us wrong on this one. We shopped at the antique alley shops and got hungry for lunch. We stopped in here. Its open 11-2:30 M-F. Plate lunches change everyday. They say what ever Kayla decides she wants to cook that day she goes out fresh and gets it that day. You get main dish, 2 sides, roll/cornbread, tea and dessert for $9.00!!! Everyone ordered something different and we tried everything and it was all wonderful homes southern cooking!!! The service was even better then the food. Such sweet wonderful ladies!!!

“Great Meat & 3”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2013

The menu offers traditional southern fare in this meat and 3. What makes the difference here is that the food actually tastes home made. It is good, and the servers are local ladies who have been there for years. It is a good time with good food and easy to get to in downtown West Monroe.
