The Casino at Sam's Town is run by a bunch of Douche Bags. Head over to El Dorado. Nicer Casino, better atmosphere.

One good thing about Sam's Town is that they were giving away money at the Craps table the night I was there. I"M RICH BITCH.

Hotel was nice, but WHERE IS THE CASINO?? Tiny casino; or should I say tiny slot machine parlor. If you are looking for a REAL casino, steer clear. This seems to be the boring BOYD formula: big slots profit for them, no fun for you! Lots of slots no casino.

I decided to take a 'chance ' on this Casino Hotel as it was on our route and I'm really glad we did. The room and bed was fantastic. The people all very friendly. It was a bargain for $56.00 booked at hotel site. We had a beautiful view overlooking the river and they also gave complimentary $10 to spend at the slots. I'm not much into gambling, but I won $25 and then quit, so the cost of the room was even less!

We stayed here several years ago when it was Harrahs, and the newest incarnation of the hotel is an improvement. Check in was speedy, the room very nice, but the TV and bed are in need of upgrading. The room was cleaner and far better cared for than the Horseshoe but the bed quality was the only difference. The valet must have napped in our car...when it was returned it had crumbs and the seat was so out of whack it took me a full half hour to adjust back to where I had it. Valet also adjusted the radio and lights. Coffee bar staff were painfully slow. Room service was quick but I was shocked I couldn't get a sugar free yogurt or plain yogurt. Really lacked healthy choices. The slots were very tight and the bar drinks overpriced. Glad we brought our own drinks. Rooms have fridges. I'll stay elsewhere next time.
