Poorly run operation. Don't stay here if you care about clean. Management clearly does not care. Rooms were filthy. We got to see 2 rooms, because the 1st one had a gaping hole in the shower wall. Dirty floors in bathrooms (hairs, dead bugs), toilet not cleaned. Rooms were smelly.
Big puddle in front of ice machine in main corridor all weekend. Accident waiting to happen. Nothing done after complaints. They're lucky someone didn't slip and fall.

Compared to the surrounding B&Bs, the rate was good. The loction was quiet & picturesque. We would stay again. Just 30 minutes north of Baton Rouge, the detour is worth the time to see this little historic town's sites and nearby plantations.

We had a wonderful time exploring St. Francisville, LA, touring the plantations, historical area of town and our stay at the St. Francisville Best Western on the Lake was so very enjoyable; tranquil setting, quiet at night. Would go there again and stay there again!
