We are also serving homemade Hamburger Steak. Locals are happy we kept the same floor plan, although we do have a Mini Bar to fix mix drinks And serve wine.

“Very local, very casual, outstanding seafood! Go and enjoy the best!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2011

We live about 20 mile from the Boiling Point and go fairly often. It is the top of our list for seafood in the area. There are lots of great restaurants in south Louisiana, but the Boiling Point is the best for what they serve. Outstanding boiled and fried seafood. The atmosphere is NOT what you go for. It's all about the food. Go and enjoy!

“Great seafood!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2010

We ate here while on our month-long road trip this month. What a great place. We were happy that it was crawfish season - order by the pound and dig in. The staff was great, also.

“Great local seafood!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2009

We ate at Boiling Point R & M based on Trip Advisor reviews and were sure glad we did. This was the best meal of our trip. We are from the Gulf Coast and are used to good, fresh seafood and were very pleased with our boiled shrimp, potatoes and corn. The restaurant is a small, local place, maybe a little hard to find but very much worth the trip.

“Locals love it so it has to be good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2009

It does not look like much from the outside but the food is wonderful. We ordered a big plate of crawfish and even got a lesson on how to eat them from the waitress. About 45 minutes later, we had gone through them and they were great. I wnt to go back and get some fried alligator. One problem though, I had trouble finding it from the address. Each of 4 different mapping programs on the web gave me a different location on US-90. Even the printed directions in a pamphlet were wrong. Exit US-90 at LA-88, go to the west side, and go north on the frontage road. The GPS coordinates are N30:3:22.4 W91:55:57.3.
