Avoid this grossly overpriced place
there are six very small rooms with very small bathrooms in a building behind the old house. Like an old two story motel. Noisiest air conditioner I can remember for a long time.
Room had nice linens and wallpaper. Tiny but pretty garden in between house and motel rooms.
The room we stayed in had a cement floor (colored) and some throw rugs. I wondered about the cement floor, until it rained and water came in under the wall sills. Puddles in the room!
DO NOT pay the extra $20 for the "whirpool tub" unless you think that is reasonable for a five foot tub stuffed into a five foot tub shower stall.
Both the owners, I guess man and wife, were rude. I guess they have their hands full running the restaurant, and the B&B and its guests have become a nuisance to them.
Breakfast was acceptable, but not up to standard. It might have been nicer if they had asked us how we wanted our eggs. Two people had to send their poached eggs back because they were too runny.
If you want a nice B&B in the area, stay in Franklin ( a few minutes south) at the Prevost House or in St Martinville (a few minutes north) at the Old Castillo. Same price at those two--amd really excellent accomodations and breakfasts. Greatly superior to Le Rosier and worth the very short drive
