“Starting in Oct only open on the weekends”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2012

We really wanted to stop in and see this place on our trip to Natchitoches LA. We were very sad that they are only open on the weekends during the "off season". Want others to be aware of that!

“Interesting!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2012

We had been that close to alligators, so it was interesting to see how they nest and how they live. Each area has a posted explanation and there are employees who are always willing to add information as requested.

“Time well spent at a great price!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2012 via mobile

Went a few weekends ago with 9 of our friends (all adults) we were visiting Shreveport and this place is just an hour away. All employees were very social and nice. You really get to be close to the gators in each exhibit. They also had a petting zoo located throughout the park. Food to feed the animals was sold for $0.50 a bag and was a generous amount. They had raccoons that would
stick their paw up a little tube to get the food pellets, all of us 30yr olds still thought it was cute and entertaining. Food was reasonably priced, I had the gator on a stick which was a decent portion and my husband and I split some fried Oreos which were awesome. The feeding shows were beyond awesome and they gave interesting facts about the animals and the surrounding area while you watched. All of our friends did the Photo with a real baby gator and they turned out great. All in all, a great time for
how inexpensive everything was. We will definitely return with the kids next time.

“Worth it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2012 via mobile

It's a simple aligator farm.. You get close to the gators and their habitat.. We spent about 2.5 hours walking and eating.. The feeding shows are very general and have some facts told by a narrated recording over an inteecom w a guy who feeds meat of a long hook.. But thats the reason we went!!.. To see some gators up close and feeding!!.. We are a family of 6 from Ok, i would do it again!..also food it good and price is fair..There are other common farm animals to see like horses, goats as well as fallow deer, coons and beaver lookin thing and you feed everything dog food by hand

“Just Another Gator Park”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2012

My family and I enjoyed our visit here. It wasn't super wonderful nor was it super bad, just average. The feeding show we watched was really cool and there was an adequate number of animals to feed. Food prices was reasonable and most gifts in souvenir shop were reasonably priced. It was really hot when we went, not many places to cool off at. All in all an ok place to visit for kids of all ages.
