I stayed here for one night when driving from Destin to Dallas after finding a great price for the room on the internet. When I check in, the lobby was on the shabby side but not horrible so I wasn't too worried. Then I walked into the hotel room .......

Awful, horrible, disgusting, gross, etc. The walls were dingy. Both the carpet and the ceiling tiles were stained. I would not walk barefoot across the carpet. The countertop around the sink was stained. The lampshades were torn and only part of the lights worked. I barely slept the entire night because I was so uncomfortable with the condition of the room. If it had not been so late at night when I arrived (after midnight), I would have demanded my money back and gone somewhere else.

Bottom line, there is no deal great enough to stay at this hotel again. Even if it was free. Even if they paid me.

Okay I don't even know where to start...first the room wasn't as clean as I would have liked, floors not vacuumed well, moldy shower curtain, no smells though. No bathroom fan, keys didn't work properly, internet didn't work properly, couldn't access the fitness room, no bags in the trash cans EVER! The owners wife actually chased me down to make sure I left a pet deposit...talk about CHEAP! More cheap even than that...no fridge and microwave in your room? That's okay...they only charge $10 to bring you one..TEN BUCKS EACH that is..the so-called "continental breakfast" is $4 in their on-site restaurant! Thought continental breakfast was supposed to be free? I did too, but not here where the almighty dollar is what rules your stay. These people are sooo rude, and the pet deposit thing was just extremely tacky!! I would not stay here again if my only other option was to sleep on the street!!!! I hope people read this and take it as a warning to NOT come to this hotel. I do not like to leave bad feedback for anyone..but, this stay was just too horrible to let it go! I travel a lot, and understand what it's like to not have the comforts of home but honestly, this came closer to a stay at the county jail as far as comfort!

My family was very disappointed in our stay at the Ramada Inn in Natchitoches, LA. We were there for the Festival of Lights, a big attraction during the holiday season. Our bad experience started when we were mislead about the location of the hotel. We were expecting to stay within a block or two of the downtown area because we were told over the phone that the hotel was VERY close to downtown (one small strip of very cute shops along a very beautifully decorated river)...in fact we were about 10 minutes away by car in the middle of what felt like nowhere. When we retreated to our room for the night we found little black bugs in the vanity area, and two extremely flat pillows (no more than an inch thick...no exaggeration) on the beds. When we called for more pillows we were told that there were no extra pillows. Finally about midnight someone knocked on our door with a few pillows which helped a little. The next morning at check out we were charged more than we were quoted over the phone. When we asked the manager (Jim) about the price he was very rude an insisted it was our mistake even after we showed him the price we found on the Ramada Inn website!!! With all the wonderful places to stay we discovered during our trip to Natchitoches I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone I know.

Mold in bathtub, dirty walls. I have never spent the night in such a horrible place. Thank goodness I had a can of Lysol with me. The toilet did not flush properly. Our room was suppose to be non smoking, yet it reeked of smoke.
