We only needed a place for the night, and we are accustomed to what La Quinta Inns typically have to offer so we chose to spend the night here. We had read a few reviews and the "good for the price" overall theme led us to think that it wasn't going to be the Radisson but decent for the night. Big mistake. $25 would have been "good for the price" and not the $70 that we paid. The bed was ok, not comfortable but ok, and the sheets seemed relatively clean. That's about the best we can say about this place. The bathroom needed a complete overhaul. The toilet had gray stains and the tub was discolored along with the bathroom floor - which was peeling up. The bath towels were old and thin, and made my cleaning towels at home seem like Egyptian cotton towels. The bathroom door was loud enough to wake up everyone in the building when it was closed - that is if you can hear it over the highway noise and train that passes periodically. We had hoped that the breakfast could rectify some of the reputation typically associated with La Quinta, but the stairway just outside of the breakfast area smelled of urine and mold, and the coffee was horrendous. The rest of the breakfast was as expected. Overall theme - KEEP DRIVING to the next hotel.
