“Enjoyable Lively dinner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2013

Great food and service. It was very busy and a bit loud making conversation difficult at times. But overall a fun place to have a great meal. I will be back!!

“Drago's in Metaire”

Fantastic food and service. If you're part of a large group you might find yourself waiting for a table. Parking is very tight.

“Only Seafood?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2013

Drago's is well known for its fresh seafood. Besides a standard fish-of-the-day plate, locals go crazy for the charbroiled as well as fresh oysters (schucked before your eyes). What a pleasant surprise, therefore, when I tried a relatively new item on the menu: short ribs. It's tricky to get it just right. Somewhat resemblying the situation with osso bucco, many establishments make it so tough that a knife is required. Others go the other extreme - though more desirable - that it has already fallen apart like a stew. Drago's got it just right: appeared as a firm brick looking piece for which the fork was sufficient for eating - and in a great tasting sauce, avaiable with either linguini or potatoes.

“Not bad, not great. OK”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2013

I'm not sure what all of the fuss is over Drago's. It stays crowded and is always recommended by locals. It is OK, but there are much better seafood restaurants in Nola.

“Great food and service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2013

A local told us to try out Drago's for a great meal and he was right. The only thing better than the food was the service. It was worth the ride out of New Orleans to eat here. Try it you will like it.
