“What's not to like?”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2013

I'll start with the bottom line: We really enjoyed our meal here. After reading this review, please see the tips below.

The exterior of the building is extremely handsome, and the interior sports a casual unadorned simplicity in the spirit of a Mexican cantina. They have a great menu, a mesquite grill, good service, and good drinks. The quality of the food is good and so are the serving sizes. They bring you free chips and salsa when you arrive. Their flour tortillas are made in-house. They can easily accommodate any size parties from couples to large groups of family and friends. Prices are extremely reasonable. What's not to like?

We ordered the duck tacos and the grilled fish tacos, and both were excellent, highly recommended. The guacamole appetizer is on the small side; it is fluffed up atop shredded lettuce and comes with some greasy pieces of fried flour tortilla for dipping; it is not so recommended.

TIP #1 - Arrive before 6:30 pm for immediate seating for dinner. Otherwise you may have a long wait.

TIP #2 - They have daily specials on drinks, and most of them expire at 7:00 pm. See tip #1.

TIP #3 - Ask about their daily specials on food.

TIP #4 - If you want really good service, ask for Brittany. She had good suggestions, was very attentive, always came at the right time, and was very accommodating.

“This is some of the best Mexican Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2013

I love this place the seafood enchiladas are to die for. Also the avocado dip with the chips and salsa is very good too. Get the homemade chips they are awesome. Its a bit pricey with drinks but still worth the money. Get their early or you will have a wait. The community tables in the bar is where we sat but it got crowded and the bar stools are too big for the table. I highly recommend it.
