We recently came to this establishment, in which we were very satisfied. The help of the front desk clerk Jana W. was amazing. She made us feel so special and provided a great room for us to stay in. Also, the casino bar was awesome. My fiancee and I hung out and played video poker at the main casino. Leo was our bartender and was so pleasant and really took care of us. We loved our experience and even though we didnt win big money all the other great services made up for it! I can not wait to go back, every staff member should learn from Ms. JANA W. she really did take good care of us!

the hotel/casino was very nice. Everything was clean, service was great. Valet was easy, Check in was fast. The only complaint I would have is that it was expensive. It was too expensive for me to gamble and afford to eat at the hotels restaurants. The casino was the nicest out of the two. It wasn't very smokey and was fairly easy for my friends to get a table.

Table limits were high on Saturday morning. Casino is very nice but everyone in my party of 6 lost money on the slots without much fun. Good variety of slots. The staff did keep the playing areas pretty clean. Only problem was the slots are tight. We were not there very long because not much play for our money. Drove from Houston. Definitely not worth the drive. Will not return.

I have stayed at this Resort several times on both business and pleasure trips and have always been very satisfied. The price rivals hotels in Vegas, but so does the hotel. The Jack Daniels bar/restaurant is awesome.

Onlt get to go here maybe twice/year. It's a five hour drive form home. It's just big enough for you to not feel cramped but not too big to get lost. Food options span the gamut from buffett to fine dining. Lots of water features outside for tubing and swimming. Big golf course but I don't golf.

We spent two nights at the hotel and were very surprised at the decor, casual elegance. The hotel staff greeted us with warm smiles and pleasant conversation. We visit a number of casinos and hotels during a year period. I think this casino/hotel gives you a look of the past and future with their decor. The rooms makes you feel like the comforts of being home. The casino give a variety of old slots and new virtual slots. You must try their South/Western Buffet. It's worth every dime.

I've stayed at both hotel and casinos for Laberge and have to say the rooms are nice in Baton Rouge. I was comped two nights so I didn't mind. But the room at Lake Charles was not as nice but the hotel is older and they are renovating some rooms. What sets Lake Charles apart is the water park and restaurants. The staff is always incredible. The restaurants are not in the casino so you can bring children to eat and enjoy the water park. Other than that Baton Rouge takes the prize for nicest room and Lake Charles for the water park and restaurants. The Lake Charles still sells out so book early. The only problem I had was the iron was burned on the bottom and the iron board was dirt. The bed was nice or was a tub shower combo was ok tv was nice I like the guest services screen for check out on the TV. The wifi is 10.99 a day to me that's too high when Baton Rouge it came with the room. Games were fun. Overall not a bad place.
