I stayed at this hotel for two weeks recently. The elevator worked only intermittenly, the hot water was often out, the smoke detector in my room went off at 4 a.m. and it was not replaced during the rest of my stay, the "non-smoking" room they put me had obviously just been converted from a smoking room, given how terribly it reeked of cigarettes. Stay away! book at the new Hampton next door, or the Hilton.

My wife and I were totally pleased with this hotel. From checkin to checkout everyone we encountered was so nice. The maintenance man even went above my expectation and brought me ice when I asked him where the ice machine was located. The breakfast was well prepared and a really good value too! I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through Lafayette. It is all that you would expect from a Courtyard and a whole lot more.
