The Real Jule is awesome very messy but great flavor

Onion rings are some of the best in town

Shrimp po boy is fresh and well seasoned

A little tough to find and neighborhood is not so good but the food is over the top

A Lafayette landmark and well deserved

“Yummmmmy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2014 via mobile

Ended up here due to traffic on the highway and feel so lucky we did! Best food of trip so far and service was outstanding. We each had the shrimp po-boy. How do they made shrimp taste so good? This made the crazy traffic feel like good luck.

“A solid sandwich, decent price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

Not as "Cajun" as I expected, since I ordered the rajin Cajun and the Cajun kicker, but the sandwiches were very high quality. I added some hot sauce and red pepper to give it a little bite. I am not a spicy addict, but when it said Cajun I expected at least a little heat. Very good service, nice prices, good quality food. Would recommend more for lunch than dinner.

“Great place to frequent”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2013

Great food and good portions. Decent value for lunch. A bit understaffed but waitresses work fast and hard to make up for it. Good for reasonably quick lunch but not real fast--for the great quality of food though, it was pretty quick. Pretty good prices on beer.

“Eating Juliens for 25+ years”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2013

I now live in the Houston area, but lived in Lafayette back in the 80's. My family used to get Juliens alllllllll the time. My husband is from MS and every time we drive, I make him stop. My family has actually been known to make day trips to stock up on local favorite and Juliens.
The fried shrimp is a classic and is my favorite. Shrimp are always big, seasoned and cooked perfectly. French bread they use is fantastic. It's not much of a building and the location isn't great, but the food can't be beat.
