“Good Cajun food and think all should give it a try!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2014

The food is good, service is good, and I eat there on a regular basis. A few movie stars have eaten there.

“Blue Dog Cafe”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2014

Blue Dog Cafe is a favorite with the locals. You will get wonderful service, the food is exceptionable and there are evenings with local bands. Prices are reasonable and the portion are large. You will get a great representation of our local cuisine,.

“Sunday Jazz Brunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2014

If you find yourself waking up in Lafayette on a Sunday morning, be sure to take in the jazz brunch at Blue Dog. Grits n griades to die for. Won't find any better, not even in NOLA. And you can have your fill of free mimosa while dining on the finest crawfish omelet. Stick around, they'll be a party somewhere in town. Pass a good time. You ain't scratched the surface yet.

“Very good Sunday brunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2014

A wide variety of foods in a nice casual environment. Priced moderately and stuitable for all ages. The food was fresh and some items were excellent. Dessert was good but do not go there for the sweets. They usually have soup and the quality was well above average. This is a self serve buffet but the lines were not long and there was plenty of food.

“Good but not like before.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2014

We ate here about 4 years ago and loved it. Couldn't wait to go back and bragged about this place to anyone who'd listen. I was disappointed this week. The Chicken Bayou Teche was pretty good but the chicken was dry and not stuffed but sitting on top of the stuffing. The jambalaya was cold and the corn maque choux was soupy. We took the leftovers back to the room but threw them away. But the wontons were great as was the bread pudding! Great service, too.
