Izzo's will get a bunch of good reviews, then, in a few months, it will be closed. Sad, because it has potential, but bankruptcy is as certain as the sunset for this horrifically managed deli.
The idea is good. Its a complete and total Moe's rip-off. Its almost exactly like Moe's, with two huge exceptions - the food is not as good, and the prices are twice as much.
Im not one to usually ever pay attention to prices. But Izzo's left me steaming! I paid EIGHT BUCKS for a burrito (about 2/3 the size of Moe's). Sure, it was expensive but not outrageous. However the next few steps are going to kill this place. Steak - add $1.49, want mushrooms, oh thats another dollar "upgrade", guacamole - sure, thats $1.29.... get the idea. By the time I got to black olives, i had puchased FOUR UPGRADES to a dang burrito !
In the history of fast food, this "upgrade" price addition is the dumbest, stupidest, and most foolish management decision I have ever witnessed. It left me, and the people in front of me and behind me, ticked off.
Quality - not bad. but when you finally get to your table and your eight dollar burrito has just cost you 12 bucks, you better have the worlds greatest buritto our youre gonna be disappointed. And thats the key word for Izzo's - disappointing.
Sorry, thumbs down.
