This is the absolute best cajun restaurant to be found anywhere. The crawfish etouffee ended my quest to find the best of my favorite creole dishes. It came with an etouffee pie, which was a half-moon pie with etouffee broth inside a flaky, gooey pastry to die for. We had a side of grilled asparagus that tasted like grilled steak. The wife ordered the blackened amberjack which was so thick and flaky it melted in your mouth. To go with my etouffee, I ordered the crawfish enchilada. So so good. I'm ready to POP. Sitting back with the Zydeko band playing on the stage, we decided to get our deserts to-go, and had a most magnificent midnight snack of their peanut butter black bottom mousse pie. And a banana foster cheese cake. Wow. We wanted to go back the next day, but we were still so satisfyingly full, we had to eventually hit the road and head back home. We will always stop at Prejean's when traveling through Louisiana on I-10 (On I-49 just North of I-10). You need to, also!!
