“Real Deal Zydeco!”

Over the years I've visited El Sid O's at least a dozen times. We travel 350 miles from San Antonio to enjoy authentic south Louisiana music, and we can always count on a great time here. We've never had a single problem.

My experience about visiting a venu with an obviously different culture than your own, is that folks are proud that you have come to visit and treat you very well.

I would definitely recommend this unique experience to anyone who loves music.

“Don't agree with Soldiergirl's review”

Especially the 'ghetto' reference. Bottom line, even though she apparently does not like Zydeco, if you do.....or want to learn more about it....this club is a good place to do it. Although it is not in the whie/affluent area of town, if you treat others with respect and otherwise behave responsibly you should be okay.

“Why would we have a ghetto club on this...”

Why would we have a ghetto club on this list? If you are visiting Lafayette don't go out here. Bad area of town and all they play over here is zydeco music. Place always has suspect characters.
