“This place gets packed!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 13, 2014 via mobile

Don't let the exterior fool you, the food is wonderful. More like a diner, but the seafood is fresh and plentiful. We had really good grilled fish platters, but the oysters and shrimp we saw served to other tables we worth another trip!

“Excellent food, reasonably priced”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2014

This is just a small restaurant within walking distance of the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Kenner, LA. The desk clerk at the motel recommended this restaurant when we asked for a place with good seafood. He said that he had never had anyone that didn't enjoy it. We were there about 4:45 and had to wait 20 minutes for a table and when we left, there were a lot of people waiting. The seafood is absolutely the best you will ever have. It seemed that there were mostly locals and many, many repeat customers. The staff was friendly, the service excellent and even tho there were people waiting you didn't feel hurried at all. All in all, an outstanding experience.

“Good food at good prices”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 6, 2014 via mobile

I had a daily special of sausage, crab, and shrimp baked in a local sweet chili served with Cajun potatoes and a simple, iceberg salad. The food was very flavorful and not overly spicy. The price was good, especially the $1.50 draft Abita. The menu is not that easy to understand for a non-local, and the service, while quick, didn't seem to have time to explain much.

“Great local place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2014

Right around the corner from the hotel, and had great food. Little place but good local seafood. Alligator was good as well as the shrimp. Fairly cheap as well

“Local Find”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2014

Harbor Seafood is a small, popular seafood restaurant and oyster bar, situated beside a fish market, near the international airport. On a recent Saturday night, it was packed with both locals and tourists, with at least a 45 min wait for a table. Friendly staff, friendly customers, great seafood, especially the oysters and shrimp. Some great local beer choices available (get Abita Turbo Dog!). Good value, good atmosphere, but expect a wait.
