I simply came to this restaurant out of defeat. I had been in Houma, LA for 5 days and had given up on real food all together. I sat on the highway, at a stand still, for 30 min driving to NO. I dropped my rental car off and took the shuttle to the hotel and put my bags in my room. Knowing I would be picked up at 3:30am for my flight out, I came downstairs and had given up on the day. With my head down and hopes gone, I dragged myself into The Landing. I sat alone and picked out the Caeser salad and Tenderloin Tournedos. I figured I'd go out big. When Danielle brought out the salad I was taken aback. It looked like real food! It tasted exactly as good as it looked. The dressing was great, and I'm a Caeser snob. Then came the Tenderloin... glorious! Again, looked like a page out of a magazine and wow, was it delicious! I figured I was on a roll and went ahead and ordered Chocolate cake. Yet again, no disappointment in sight. It was decadent and I'm sure I will be in a sugar coma shortly. Danielle, the server was attentive, friendly, and I never wanted for anything. Justin, the manager, was attentive as well, and offered his assistance with any questions regarding the restaurant and/or hotel. You guys restored my faith in the state of Louisiana, because I was absolutely ready to write the whole place off! Thank you for the wonderful dining experience!
