We stayed at Comfort Inn immediately after hurricane Isaac. The hotel was fully booked as were every other hotel within 40 miles.The hotel staff, especially Coleen did everything within their power to accommodate and make guests comfortable....even after a large water main broke information of the hotel. They provided bottled water and kept us advised of the progress of repair work. Full water service was back within 8 hrs.

The Comfort Inn supports the oil and gas indusrty in the region. The hotel is not new but appears to be well maintained. Bedding was adequate as were the linens.

Breakfast was adequate and typical of Comfort Inn. The breakfast area was comfortable.

The manager of this hotel is rude and uncooperative. The door keys have to be reset every time you come back to the hotel! Every time I was in the room I got ate up by critters, some sort of bug biting the me while I was in the room. A/C broke and the clerk asked me to reset it...really???

There are several good hotels in Houma. Pass this one. I stay in Comfort Suites and Inns about 30 to 50 nights per year and usually I am very pleased with the stay. Not this is one . I will rephrase that statement, this is the worst Comfort Inn that I have had the displeasure of booking. The management is most uncooperative and if you have a problem it most likely will not be attended to.

This was one of the most friendlist hotels I have every been in.. Everyone was more than willing to go out of their way to help us with our conference we held there.. The only main problem is that since the doors all open to the inside on half of the rooms, it is extremely noisy on the inside. I had to call the front desk 2 nights because people were loud & partying outside our room at about 3am in the morning...
