My wife and I eat here for special occasions, and the weekend following valentines day. The atmosphere is a rustic farmhouse, which gives a homestyle feeling.
Our last visit was nice. I ordered scallops as an appetizer . I never had a scallop before so I was excited. I did not enjoy the textures(I did however eat it all), so I believe it is more of an aquired taste. For a salad, I had the one with strawberrys and blue cheese. That dish is amazing, all the flavors go together flawlessly. For main entre' I had the special which was the black drum fish pan fried with risotto. The flavors were beautifully paired with the wine (whom I asked the sever to pair). My wife, as always ordered the lasagna and loved it. For dessert, we first ordered some ice cream that tasted like a tart sherbert. The server asked my opinion, and I said I did not like it. They replaced it with a canoli. It was good as always but I was desiring something new. most of the desserts are based on mocha flavors which generally I think tastes terrible. I am always happy up eat here but I'm usually still kinda hungry for more as I leave here even after spending over 100$.
