“Gone downhill”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2013

I use to LOVE pats... But it's gone downhill so bad. Went to eat w/ hubby @ 7pm; service took forever to get our drinks, they were out of half the things on the menu, the servers were hollering back and forth in the kitchen (we could hear them seated across the restaurant by the windows) the servers ignored many of the tables...it was bad. To top it off they weren't busy even though it was the 4th of July (place had 6 whole tables seated). It was no where close to closing, yet staff was doing night prep. The general feel was "hurry up and eat so we can leave for the holiday". Very unprofessional. I'm sorry u had to work on a holiday, but dmn u can't take it out on customers!!!! I've worked on holidays myself and in the hospitality industry...very uncalled for.

“Great Cajun Food and atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2013

Lazy afternoon and needed a needed stop. This place is on the map as being Great. Well, it is. Sat outside on the open deck with fans and plenty of wildlife. Fisherman on the other side of bayou just kept catching fish on every cast. Had a great time. They do have inside seating and it looked quit roomy, with lots of families. Stop we did and going back.

“Good local seafood; huge dancefloor; historic”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2013

Our seafood platters were very good, but somehow we would've liked an extra shrimp or oyster or two to really feel like we were getting a 20. platter. Still ...perfectly cooked and delicious. All the other plates at our tables were raved about. Service was good. Be aware that there may be a cover charge later in the day, since a zydeco band will play. Probably well worth it, but we weren't there late enough to hear the music. Would return.

“They Need A New Cashier”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

Had made reservations for a large group of around 40 to 50 about 6 months in advance. Called on a regular basis just to make sure we were on go for our Friday night 6:30 reservations. We all arrived and were told we had to pay a $10 cover charge....Which I refused to pay because the band didn't start playing until 9:00 and would hope that since we were eating at 6:30 that we would be long gone by then. After a little back and forth about that with the lady at the front we did NOT pay the $10 and went into a very nice area that they had set up for us and had a GREAT TIME and I think everyone was pleased with there food as well. It is a nice place and we were able to talk and move around and visit with each other in the large dance hall area that we were seated in. Yes I would go back....had no problems with food or waitress or service other than the lady at the front (cashier) She also seemed very confused with tickests as we all checked out she didn't know how to run the credit cards, make change etc. They may want to look into that.

“We, too, will never go back”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2013

After leaving the Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival (a fun time), we had the misfortune of dining here. There were seven in our party and none of us were pleased with our meal. From the time we entered until leaving the staff seemed indifferent. Wait service was just o.k. The food was:
1) not hot when served 2) small portions, which actually was o.k. because it wasn't particularly good anyway and 3) overpriced. Count us out for a return visit.
