4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2014

It was busy so I will cut them a little slack, food and prices are above average gun place to grab a quick bite and a beer.

Love T&B! Fish tacos are outstanding, along with everything else on the menu. Nice selection of beer & good atmosphere in beautiful downtown Hammond, America!

“More than just tacos”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2014

Honestly the name of the restaurant kept me from going there. Not a huge fan of beer or tacos and it's a chain restaurant, I believe. But went with some friends one afternoon and was totally surprised by the excellent quality of the pitcher margaritas and the depth and quality of the menu. It's still a "joint" and no where near fine dining but the service is attentive and the kitchen puts out well crafted dishes in the familiar tex-mex style. Don't expect free chips and salsa but you get a nice taste of pinto bean soup for starter. Very casual place with a nice bar, too.

“best authentic mexican food in the area”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2014

Hubby and I tried it last night for the first time, and it was very good. For starters, we ordered a queso type dip with salsa and their chips (which are unique and yummy), and we both had medium margaritas on the rocks. For entrees, I ordered a la carte: a grilled fish taco, a chicken sope, and a shredded beef taco, while my husband ordered a chicken quesadilla dinner. Everything was delicious and on point, and it was much more authentic then other Mexican restaurants. The only reason I gave it 4/5 stars was because if you order a margarita on the rocks, you have to order it with the premium tequila. Only the frozen ones come with the house brand. (It was only a dollar more, so I know I'm being picky, and the margaritas ARE rockin). Anyway, great experience all over.....the service was great and the prices very reasonable. Will definitely be back!

“Huge Burritos”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2014

This place is a small restaurant in downtown Hammond and doesn't look like much but the food is great. Free bean soup is brought out and is very tasty. When you order the big burritos, they are huge!!! The chips are not free but homemade and very good. You get a lot of food if you order the burritos, the tacos are a little in the small side but tasty. Great little place!
