While this was not our first time at an Olive Garden, it was the first at this location. We visited on a Saturday evening and while still new and busy, we were greeted and seated very quickly. Kudos to Jantel who did an outstanding job in answering questions about new items and. when asked, made honest suggestions based on what she had eaten.
Our appetizers were brought quickly. While slightly disappointed in the spinach and artichoke dip (slightly overcooked), the Smoked Mozzarella Fonduta was outstanding! We will be getting that one again. At my reqeust, I had the light dressing on the salad. I just cannot taste the difference and while this was a splurge from my diet, if it tastes the same then why eat the other?
Their new Tuscan Garlic chicken was tasty. My wife got the Seafood lasagna and, while good, she said that she has had other things there that she prefers more. For dessert, I had the Triple chocolate strata while my wife had the Black tie mousse cake. Our kids had a dolcini. Each one is a perfect size for a child. While the Chocolate mousse is good, try the Dark chocolate caramel cream. Delicious.
