“fun and personable guide gave a entertaining and educational tour through this family-owned local business”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2012 via mobile

There were two families in my tour. My family had three adults, one teenager, one pre-teen, and one toddler. The other had four adults, one infant, and one child. Everyone in the group seemed to have a good time. It drizzled pretty heavy for a little bit. They wil still due tours with rain but they do not have rain gear for visitors. We had an umbrella that we use for the toddler in our family and the other family had one also. You will stand in place for short periods of time while the guide is talking so mosquito spray and comfortable shoes are a must. There isn't a paved walkway through the Farm so I would not take a stroller esp if the ground is wet.

“Great place to take the kids”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2012 via mobile

We just visited this place July 30th with our children, aged 10 and 8. They had a blast. It is a smelly place, and very hot. The entire tour is a walking tour, but only lasts about 45 minutes. There are no hills. There is a snowball stand at the front but they are cash only. You will get an opportunity to hold a young alligator at the end of the tour and they let you take pictures. The tour guide we had was such a nice guy. It was the end of their work day when we got there, but he put forth lots of effort to get the gators to cooperate, because it seemed they knew it was the end of the day as well:-) the tour was very educational and although I thought it was a bit pricy, it was an experience our kids will never forget, so that's priceless. We live in Washington state, and my husband and and I grew up in the south. Our children have no idea what the south is all about, so we enjoyed getting to show them a bit of it. You will also want to have some cash on hand to tip your tour guide. I believe they truly deserve it. Also, just a side note, the guy who owns the farm and his son are on Swamp People sometimes.

“Interesting, educational, and fun!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2012

We were a group of 6. It consisted of 3 adults, 3 children ages 13, 11, and 2. We all had a blast. There are thousands of turtles poking their heads up out of the water. Alligators of various ages. You get to sit on top of a gator and take pictures and take pictures holding a small gator. Watching the lillies move on top of the water as the gators are coming up to be feed is like watching a movie. We all had a great time. There are also large snakes, snapping turtles, and raccoons that look mischievous. You are guaranteed to see alligators and lots of them in their natural environment. It is about a 45 minute drive from NO. The guide was very friendly and spent time answering all questions. A plus was that it was raining love the swamp.
FYI if it is raining do not take a stroller it can get quite muddy. Take an umbrella.

“Excellent experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2012

We visited the farm on July 23. Our guide, Mike, was very informative, and he went above and beyond our expectations. I have to say that I prefer Kliebert's Farm over the swamp tour we did near New Orleans and the Everglades tour in Florida. You get to see a lot more "hands-on" action at the Kliebert's Farm. And, the kids' favorite - you get to sit on a gator and you get to hold a baby gator. WELL WORTH THE MONEY. I would definitely go back.

“Loved out tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2012

The tour was awesome!!! We got to sit on a large gator and take pictures. We also got to hold baby gators and turtles. The guide was very informative and every kid there was having a blast (boys and girls). I would highly recommend the tour.
