We decided to stop for a bio-break at the next gas station we saw, never did we imagine what we'd see there. We giggled at the name thinking how much cajun's love their mascot, instead the name was given because they house a live tiger on their property for visitors to see. Tony lives in a cage with cement flooring and hardly any room to move. He paced back and forth the entire time we were there. This has been Tony's home for the last 10 years. I had never heard of this place until we drove up, but many pages pop up on a simple internet search. Inside the truck stop they had very limited selection of snacks and drinks but tons of tiger paraphenilia and fleur de lis stickers. The food was all deep fried and under a lamp, not very appealing.
