If you are looking for quiet and clean place to stay, the Holiday Inn Gonzales is a great place. The staff, PAM, was gracious, cordial, and friendly. My accommodations were for a king room and considering stays at other Holiday Inns, I would rate this hotel the best hotel under the Holiday Inn franchise. The room was spacious, clean, and had a pleasant decor.

We have stayed in that area many times but this was our second stay at this hotel. The staff was great. They were very helpful when we call requesting two rooms side by side, just a day before we would be checking in. The pool was very clean and bigger than others. Very easy to get to from our rooms. We also enjoy eating at their restaurant (Mike Anderson) and we liked it was located in the hotel. Food was Really GOOD!!!! I would stay their again and every time we are in that area. Easy to get to any fast food place you like and the outlet mall just down the road. Thanks For a Wonderful Stay!

I am a Holiday Inn Priority Customer and always try to stay in a Holiday Inn for their reliable high standards.
I was very disappointed in this motel and would not recommend it to others.
The bathroom was dirty and in need of updating.
No elevator
Motel room doors open to the outside, no security.
I felt very uneasy walking up the dark outside stairway at night.

The front desk staff was not friendly and I would only give them one star.
Definitely not worth the price we paid.
I will be complaining to Holiday Inn.

I've stayed at this motel several times over the years. Obviously, this is not a 7 star hotel at a resort, but it is a good, comfortable, quiet place to stay if you're in the area.

Anyone in the area has heard of Mike Anderson - good food in the restaurant, and I assume room service is the same - never have used that.

As for the basics - bed is comfortable, TV works fine, and shower is warm. Bathroom looks at little aged - not dirty, but kinda like it's about time for an update. This is an old-fashioned Holiday Inn - doors open to the outside, so some may be worried about security. Personally, I can't vouch for the security, but it's always quiet.

The front desk staff is nice and courteous, and always prompt.

This place gets fairly busy at certain times due to work at the chemical plants within a half hour drive or so, so check before you assume you can show up without a reservation.

All-in-all, a nice place, and a motel I will likely use again.
