“lunch again at Phoenicia”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2013

Was scheduled to take my grandson to lunch and again he chose to eat Lebanese food. As we have gone to Phoenica before we chose this place again. We ended up meeting with a couple of other people also. Again, a great meal. Love to eat lamb there. No strong flavor. The know how to cook it.

“One of the Best in Baton Rouge”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 18, 2013

This is a very good Mediterranean restaurant that beats out most of the competition you find next door in Baton Rouge. Huge portion sizes, well prepared, tasty, and a very friendly place. Any tourists checking out the Bass Pro Shop that may be leery of Mediterranean in little ole Denham Springs have nothing to worry about here.

“Good Mediterranean Restaurant”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2013

We went during lunch and were seated promptly; we then had to wait 8 minutes for our server to come get our drink order. Another table that come in after us were eating there appetizers when we order our drinks and food. All the servers seem attentive except ours which we only saw when she was seated another table or when our food was brought out. I believe that the service is good and that we just had a bad waitress.
The fried halloumi cheese appetizer was delicious and one of the best we have had. We got the Phoenicia sampler plate for two, which has the standard Mediterranean foods. The plate had Kibbi, Gyro, Shawarma, Beef Kabob, Stuffed Grape Leaves, and Stuffed Cabbage. You get two of everything and a lot of Gyro and Shawarma. It all tasted good and was more than enough food for three people even though it is the sampler for two. They also have pasta dishes as well.
The restaurant was nicely decorated, and was not cramped like a lot of restaurants these days. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Overall we enjoy the experience

“great menu”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

Great meun. Whether you want chicken, beef, pork, seafood, they have it and fixed more than one way. I particularly like the tilapia and shrimp dishes. My favorites are the dishes prepared with lots of mushrooms, bell pepper and onion. I'm not much of a rice pilaf person, so I am alwats able to substitute musaka or something else.
