“A 'must do' when visiting the Breaux Bridge/Lafayette area”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2011

Really great tour. We were visiting the area from the UK and really wanted to experience the Bayou and all it has to offer. Doing this tour allowed us to see the swamp and Bayou in great detail. Brian was really informative, stopping to show us paparyus, lotus flowers, Spanish moss and all manor of birds and wildfowl. The icing on the cake though was seeing a 10ft aligator and her babies really close up. We had a great time - thanks :)

“Fun and educational!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2011

My friend and I booked in for this tour at 5pm the day before (thankfully outside peak season) and we were lucky enough to be the only people on the tour. Bryan showed us all the different flora and fauna of the swamps and took us in search of gators. He is extremely knowledgeable and has a great way of delivering his tours, with a few jokes thrown in to keep it light.
We found some alligators and all the different birds and flowers. This was definitely a really great tour

“Unmissable”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2011

Wild life tours for the non-specialist tend to be a bit superficial. This was an exception. A super mix of detail and generality lasting a couple of hours resulted in 4 alligators and innumerable birds. But the most important thing was the ambience and this tour had this in spades. Well worth the $20 (and more)

“Fantastic and Interesting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2011

We had a terrific time. The trip was well worth the $20 each. The driver gave us both information on the plant life and the animal life that make up the swamp. It lasted between one and a half and two hours. I would go again in a minute. The driver found a gator guarding her nest and got out and interacted with her. I got some "GREAT" pictures.

“Great tour with a comfortable boat & informative guide.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2011

I grew up in South LA & know swamps, bayous, and marshes well so I had high expectations. Capt. Bryan Champagne met my expectations. My niece was visiting with 5 young children and the tour was informative for everyone in the boat-adults & children. Bryan spoke French with four Europeon visitors as well as providing detailed info, in English & French, on the plants, trees, and wildlife of the area. Truly a comfortable and educational experience.
