“Good Tex-Mex”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

Overall, the food is very good. I alwys judge a Mexican restuarant by the taste of their salsa. Posada's salsa was very spicy and tangy, just the way I like it. The decor is quite good giving you the feeling of a Mexican Cantina and the service is excellent and friendly. The prices are moderate, will not break your wallet. The tortillas are fresh made right there on the floor in full view of the guests...interesting to watch if you've never seen how a tortilla is made.

“Love the Restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2012

Whenever I am in Bossier City, LA I eat at Posados. It's great food at an affordable price, plus it is right down the road from The Days Inn Bossier City where I always stay.

“Decent chain-style mexican food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2012

Posado's serves pretty good food, but it is not authentic mexican cuisiene. We found both locations to be rather bland compared to real mexican joints in Texas (Morales, in Redland, Cafe del Rio in Lufkin, Zarape in Bryan, Gina's in College Station). It is fine though, for folks that haven't had the real McCoy or don't like very spicy food. The service was wonderful, and the atmosphere was great. More kick is needed in their salsas and sauces, which I seriously doubt are made "in-house". Bathrooms need some attention.

“Poor Service”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2012

The food was fair to good, but the service was awful! Especially since there were 8 servers and only about 6 tables with customers. The most disturbing part was the staff eating and drinking in the food preparation areas, picking up the fresh tortillas with their bare, unwashed hands. I would have loved to have been a health inspector on this particular day.

“Delicious Mexican food at reasonable prices”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2012 via mobile

Everyone in my family loves this place! I get the same thing every time.
To start off, their chips and salsa are the best I've ever had. The salsa is usually not hot at all but every once in a while it has a little kick to it. This implies it's made in house. Next, they bring you homemade flour tortillas. You can actually watch as they are being made at the large machine. They have their own brand of squeezable butter on every table that is meant to go on the tortillas. We buy whole bottles of it for use at the house. Their beef fajitas are delicious. The meat is always tasty and juicy. Served on the side of the dish is what they call "fajita butter". I can't tell you how tasty it is. If you don't order fajitas and want to try some (I like dipping plain flour tortillas in it), it costs $1.05 ala carte. If you're a big fan of their flour tortillas, they sell them by the dozen and beat any store bought brand. I want to say they are $1-$2 a dozen. I also like their enchiladas, quesadillas, and nachos.
Dessert is on the house. They will ask if you want sopapillas. If you don't, you can always get an ice cream cone on the way out.

Here are some tips:
1) If you want privacy, ask to be seated in the elevated portion of the restaurant.
2) If you are seated in a booth, you have to deal with a lot of foot traffic with people using the restroom.
