There are a number of Waffle Houses in the Baton Rouge area, but we go to the one on College Drive near I-10. I admit that I am addicted to "Scattered, Smothered, Covered and Chunked", which is translated to be hash browns, diced ham, grilled onion bits, with a slice of cheese melted on top. There are some friends in town who frequently meet to argue national politics, LSU football, local government, and the length of women's skirts. We will argue anything.... and we laugh a lot while we eat breakfast. The waffles a good too. Some of the guys prefer grits with their eggs over easy. Barbara knows what I like and puts up with most of our discussions. Frank has been tolerant enough not to toss us out. This is a good place for both travelers and residents. Hope to see you there.
