5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

Enjoyed all the exhibits inside, especially seeing all the snakes. We enjoyed the trail and boardwalk also.

“Walk in the woods”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 24, 2013

I was a bit disappointed as I saw few birds and little wildlife... but it was still an absolutely beautiful walk in the woods and swamp. I was just hoping to see more birds than those enticed by the birdfeeders near the visitors centor

“Great place for a hike!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2013 via mobile

I loved this place, and so did the kids. We enjoyed everything about it. The visitors center had a good collection of swamp animals, the workers were all knowledgeable and very friendly, and the trails were very well maintained and easy to walk. Will visit here again.

“Great place for a nature walk!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

Besides interesting nature exhibits there is a wonderful boardwalk trail through the swampy woods behind the main building where you'll see interesting flora and all sorts of aquatic and maybe even reptilian species!

“Great value and a very cool stop.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2013

The Bluebonnet Swamp Nature Center is very cool, and a very awesome stop in Baton Rouge. It is easy to spend an hour or so here just walking through the swamp and looking around.
