We have been to Baton Rouge many times to visit family, and have never had a wonderful experience in accommodations. But now we will continue to come back every year. The rooms were clean and quiet, and the staff was extremely accommodating. (Alean and Michelle stood out so much that I asked for their names for this review.)

Staff very friendly and extremely efficient. I forgot and left some earrings in the room. They were mailed back to me the same day we checked out. Good buffet, clean and well maintained property.

I just finished a five-day business stay at the Fairfield. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is extra friendly and helpful, and the complimentary breakfast had plenty of variety. There is free wireless access throughout the hotel. Location is very close to I-10 and I-12, and there is ample shopping/restaurants in close proximity.

My husband and I booked here last minute after finding that we needed to stay in Baton Rouge for the evening.

I'm neutral on this hotel as it did what I expected it to do. I'd stay here again if I needed a basic, functional place to stay. No frills, but it's clean, safe, and affordable. It was clean, in a safe area, and affordable. It also was easy to get to off of the highway.

Breakfast was free and adequate, although served in a small room. Breakfast was primarily continental, although there were frozen sausage sandwiches that could be heated in the microwave.

It's right next to its sister hotel, Springhill Suites. That, however, was about $20 more. I wouldn't pay the extra, instead saving the money for a great meal in BR.
