“So sick of hearing about Huey Long”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2013

The mansion is nice, but the price of eight dollars is not worth it. I might have enjoyed it more if there was less mention of Huey Long and more about the building.

“Great guided tour here! Don't miss it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2013 via mobile

For a nominal fee, you get a guided tour and history of the mansion. Very interesting & well worth the charge. They have some great Huey Long as well as "uncle" Earl K. Long memorabilia inside!! And for you Walt Disney fans, keep your eyes peeled & you will see something awesome!!

“a mini White House”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2013

We only saw this from the outside but it looks like a small replica of the White House. It was designed by Thomas Jefferson and built in 1930.

“Like Yankees imagine we would have;)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2013

Beautiful antebellum mansion and grounds. Old South perfection! Lovely drive throughout lakefront, manicured lawns and stately homes snake their way toward the Governors mansion.
