“Good for a cheap sleep”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2012 via mobile

Nice staff. Rooms ok- weird smell though and this was in a nonsmoking room. Might stay again, but of I have the extra money I'm staying at best western.

3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2011

This motel in Bastrop loves truckers and offers weekly rates. It's on the main drag of town, and there is a lot of traffic noise, but every place in Bastrop seems to be on the main drag. The place is old. They are making an effort, but some of the chairs are really old, the lighting is florescent overhead, and the beds seem to have squeaky plastic matttress covers. My shoes stuck to the linoleum floors in the sink area ~ don't know if that was me or them. Borderline WiFi in my room. Just barely connected. Poor soundproofing (if any), but needed to run the noisy window a/c, which served as white noise. They have trouble enforcing no smoking in the no smoking rooms. Nothing in town looked much better.
