We stayed at the recently opened Storybook Inn in Kentucky, and found it to be one of the best b&b's we've stayed at. The inn itself was beautifully decorated and very welcoming. There are many rooms to enjoy with a book or glass wine: a large sitting room, a library, a dining room and a large covered porch that lead out to the beautiful garden and pond. Our hostess, Elise, had wine and cheese waiting for us when we arrived. She had, thoughtfully, already made dinner reservations at three(!) different places for us, described them to us and helped us choose one that best suited our needs. We stayed in the "gone with the wind" suite. It was big and beautiful and very luxurious. There were fresh flowers, chocolates and fruit in the room. The bed was comfortable and we slept like babies. In the morning, Elise served us breakfast in the covered porch. It was wonderful and she accomodated my husband's dietary needs. Every need and whim we had, Elise took care of. I cannot say enough good things about this truly special place. I have stayed at many b&b's and this one ranks as one of my favorites!
