“Beautiful walk on the river!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2013

The Paducah Riverwalk is a beautiful place to take a stroll whether it is a cool, crisp spring day...a sunny summer day...or a beautiful fall day when the leaves are changing! Don't miss out on this gem in the Paducah area.

“It's a Walk, Along the River”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2013

By itself, this is just a basic walkway between the floodwall and the Ohio River. There is a lot of concrete, a little grass, a few trees, benches and picnic tables. You can sit and watch the activity along the river, and maybe a eat a sandwich or ice cream from one of the nearby shops in the Historic District. Depending on the time of year you visit you can contemplate the volume of water it takes to fill the riverbanks up to to the top of this mini-park.

Taken alone the riverwalk is probably worth about 10-15 minutes of your time on a quiet day. But just on the other side of the floodwall are the murals (see separate listing), the River Heritage Center (see separate listing), the downtown historic district, and other attractions.

“Still Not Much To Write About”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2013

It has been 2 1/2 years sine I reviewed the Paducah Riverwalk and last week we were at the Bar B Q On The River which is adjacent to the river walk. The downtown area had thousands of tourist all out for a most delightful day and evening along the river. However, the actual river walk has shown no improvement (at least i could not find any) since my last visit. I did read though in the local paper that someone was looking for funds for this area. There is no reason, in ,my opinion, that Paducah government leaders should not take the lead and turn this area into a first class tourist venue. Having a natural resource like the Ohio River in your front door is what many cites would die for. I also noted that down the river walk where the old hotel once stood, there was no activity that would indicate anyone is trying to turn that area into a production part of Paducah. Paducah has the greatest opportunity in Western Kentucky to turn this area into a fabulous tourist area that would bring in a great many dollars to an area in need of those dollars. Leaders should be challenged to provide that leadership so that we could see and enjoy a first class facility along the river.

“A must see if in town”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2013

Actually went looking for the kerchoff bakery but the it is a short walk to the riverwalk. There is a nice park and a pleasant wide walkway along the river. the arts section is close by too so one can spend a couple of hours walking along the reiverwalk and visiting downtown which includes the art district. A plesant visit and totally unexpected,

“Gathering Place by the Rivers”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2013 via mobile

I stopped here while passing through and was not disappointed. A large number of residents were there for dragonboat races. It is very clean and well maintained, right at the confluence of the Ohio and Tennessee rivers.
