“A wonderful hotel!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2013

One of the best hotels I have stayed at in years. The staff made you feel right at home. They went out of their way to make sure you were satisfied. The hotel was immaculate. The room spotless. The Jacuzzi and pool were perfect after a long drive from Iowa. What a treasure this hotel turned out to be. I am so pleased that the staff at another hotel recommended this hotel. When in Paducah, I will stay no where else, but at the Auburn Place Hotel. I have already made reservations for our next trip in November. Well done!!!!

We were a tired family with one handicapped person, 2 other adults, a baby, and a puppy on a long trip late at night. This place was absolutely beautiful, with a fireplace in the lobby and apples, cookies and milk available. We were assigned connecting rooms by two very friendly and helpful ladies who played with my son and the puppy and actually helped my mother to her room to make sure she was satisfied. Microwave, fridge, extra sink, pull out couch, wi-fi, and cable internet were in the rooms. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. Prices were reasonable, and the laundry had new machines that actually worked! I'm very picky, and I find no fault with this hotel. The cleanliness of the entire hotel, not just the rooms, and the friendly, helpful staff absolutely deserves the highest compliment! It will now be a permanent stop on our family vacation.

We booked this hotel because we have a pet. QUALITY hotels that allow pets are far and few between.
The first impression of this hotel was, WOW. Nice lobby with fireplace, ice water dispenser inside entrance, large bowl of apples for guests and welcoming staff. Warm cookies and milk between 8:00-9:00pm!! Rooms nicely appointed with desk for laptops, table with two chairs, sofa with coffee table, refrigerator, microwave, small coffee maker, ironing board with iron, hair dryer in bathroom. You had your choice of soft or firm pillows and beds were very comfortable. I normally do not sleep well in hotels, but I sure did in this one!
There was a nice pool and hot tub. Patio had chairs and tables and also gas grills to use! Applebee's and Rafferty's next door.
Breakfast was served starting at 6:00am. There were scrambled eggs, bacon, bagels, cream cheese, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, muffins, cereal, orange and apple juice. Nice, attentive lady taking care of breakfast area.
We WILL be back!

We have stayed at this hotel many times when it was originally a Holiday Inn Express. The people are the best and very attentive to guest needs. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We stayed here the evening they made the switch from Holiday Inn to Auburn Place in July and the staff handled the change so professionally and making sure guests knew the option to stay at the Holiday Inn was available and just next door.
We just stayed again for an evening and the staff and hotel remain just the same. It is a great little gem and now this family owned business will continue to get our business!

This is an excellent hotel in Paducah. I stayed recently and last year when it was a Holiday Inn express, the management and ownership has not changed, the hotel still has an excellent level of quality and service. I have also stayed at the one in Cape Girardeau, MO.

Excellent service, large, clean room and large bathroom, all clean. Every member of the staff was friendly, caring including the manager whom we ran into and she was very proud of this property as she should. Large array of amenities from refrigerator and mico wave to whirlpool bath. We will stay here again definitely and would highly recomment this hotel to both business and other travel.

Room Tip: We had a king size bed with whirlpool bath.

From the time we opened the front door to the time we left the next day, we were greeted by happy and extremely helpful staff. Hotel was immaculate, room was spacious and absolutely spotless. Plenty of room, lots of light, and super quiet for a food night's sleep. Heartily recommend. Great hotel, staff, breakfast! Definitely will stay here again and let others know what a gem this place is!
