When we entered to purchase tickets, the forestry person was very polite and accommodating. She directed us to the cashier, who did not explain what our tour options were and charged us the youth fee for our 2-year-old (she didn't ask ages for either of our children). Because of downloading the cave's spring 2013 brochure, we knew which tour we wanted, and we chose not to fight the fee charge. Also, the restrooms were not clean or stocked. We were told the tour would be departing from the front porch. There was no announcement once the tour time arrived, nor did the guide wait to be certain she had everyone who paid. We took the X-cave tour, which was decent. The guide was very informative, and made it engaging for the kids in the group. We have visited several caves of similar size that are more oriented to customer service, so this was a letdown.
