“A wide variety of good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2012

There were four in our group and we all ordered different entrees. Everyone was pleased with their food. I had the cuban sandwich with homemade chips. The chips were delicious. Our waitress was young but did a good job and was cutting up with us. The only down side was that even though we were in the non smoking section you could still smell smoke from the other area, but there is a bar area so I guess it could be expected. We won't hesitate to eat there the next time we are in the area.

“Fun place to dine, drink and visit with friends.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2012

My new main place to dine when in Murray. Lunch or dinner. Good food. Great marquritas too. Friends and I had such fun that we left after dinner, went to movie, then came back to sit and visit later that evening.

“Good food for a bar”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2012

Nice place to have lunch and sit outside in the sun on a day when the weather is nice. The food is actually really good for what is essentially a bar. No kids in the evening - it's a bar - and a college town bar at that. Try the fried green beans. And the grilled pimento cheese sandwich with green olives is amazing - even if it does sound a little weird. It's dark and loud inside, which is fine if that's the atmosphere you're looking for.

“Its just OK”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2012

Have been here before once or twice in the span of a year (which should say something) but went here yesterday with coworkers.

I've had the BBQ pulled pork sandwich which was tiny (I thought it was a slider!) but usually order the fried chicken sandwich tossed in buffalo sauce. The chicken breast isn't very big and I always leave this place hungry. Always go for the buffalo chips as a substitute, but beware. You are always served ONE side of either potato chips, cole slaw or potato salad... if you want anything in their place you will have to pay a dollar or more for another item. The sweet tea here is not very sweet either if you like that for your drink. Sandwiches usually run between $6-$8. The place is supposedly known for its bean roll or pimento cheese sandwich if you like those things.

The decor is... well... unique. Not sure how its very "New York style" to reflect its name but that's fine. The building looks like a machine shed from the outside.

The staff has been very attentive and friendly. This place isn't horrible but isn't amazing either. The MSU athletics coach's show is broadcast from here every Monday night during football and basketball season. The place serves as one of the few bars in Murray for the college kids too.
