This hotel is fantastic (very art deco) and immaculately clean which is the most important. Extremely fast check in (thanks Sarah!) and very helpful in trying to find nearby restaurants and directions to other locations. We stayed for the weekend and this was a very quiet, safe and awesome location if you are going to Louisville (and its just 30 minutes away from Horseshoe Casino in Elizabeth Indiana.

Stayed here for three nights before Thanksgiving. The room was large and nice. Bed was comfortable. I liked having the couch for watching TV and reading. The fridge was also useful. As other reviews have noted, the bathroom was on the small side, but that wasn't a big problem for me.

The location is typical upper-middle class suburban sprawl. Not too much exciting right around the hotel, but it's a good base for exploring Louisville. Close to the highway, didn't take much time to get into the Highlands or other parts of the city. And amenities nearby (groceries, etc) if you need them.

Check-in and out were easy and quick.

Only a couple of minor annoyances. Housekeeping came by the room earlier in the day than pretty much any place I've stayed. Around 9AM. They were fine coming back later, but it was just a little surprising to have someone knocking on my door that early. Perhaps they have a lot of business travelers who are typically out of their room early. Wifi was free and worked well, but you had to re-log in every 24 hours. Again, minor inconvenience, but a little annoying.

I would stay here again when visiting Louisville.

I stayed here for a business meeting after the usual hotel i stay in when coming to Louisville was booked. Although I hated the commute the staff and cleanliness of the hotel was akin to something I am used to finding in a 4 Star/5 Diamond in a major city. There was a staff member named John that was very helpful in everything from helping me find a store nearby that had an extra battery for my laptop, to recommending an establishment for dinner (Z Oyster) and greeted me by name when i arrived back at the hotel. Although the decor and hotel seemed a like a real reaching attempt at modern, everything else about the place was great. I would recommend it whenever possible

Room Tip: Winter first floor East side, nearest the outdoor pool.

My husband and I stayed one night at this hotel. The check in process was very easy. We stayed in a room with a king size bed, the room was large and clean. The TV was huge and could be seen throughout the room. The room had a fridge, that work great. The bed was comfortable and had enough pillows for two people. The hotel offered free breakfast but it was very basic. The hotel offers free wi-fi, which is really nice. The also had a business center and let hotel guest print for free. Our room also had a nice couch with a pull out bed. This room could have easily slept a kiddo or two. The hotel is located on a busy street but the noise can't be heard in the hotel. The room were very quiet I could not here any other guests. Overall the hotel is a great value and offers a nice place to stay.

The hotel is surround by restaurants, Mimi's cafe, Carraba's grill, Chile's. A Barnes and Noble is directly behind the hotel. It took us approximately 15 min to make it downtown Louisville, and 5 minutes to make it to a local mall for shopping.

We've had the pleasure of staying in many 4 & 5 star hotels over the years but all of them can learn from this one when it comes to customer service. It was clean & in a great location. When we called the front desk for anything they were on it! They went above & beyond to accomodate us and Julia even helped us try to get my daughters necklace that she dropped behind a shelf. The service is A+++ & we will definitely stay there again!

We are fans of the brand but hadn't stayed with them for a good while. We decided to try again and were not disappointed. This location is the typical setup and decor. Lots of room, modern, big HD TV, fridge. The neighborhood is very nice also.
What put this visit over the top was service. John checked us in. He offered a tour of the property which we didn't need. After answering a few questions about the area he asked if we needed a wakeup call. Upon finding just how early we needed to leave for our flight he offered to have a "to go" breakfast bag waiting in the morning. We were impressed. The gentleman on duty in the morning (sorry I didn't catch his name) was equally polite and helpful.
We'll be back next time we're in the area.
