“Great Place to relax with a beer”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2012

I do like this place.....The outside bar/deck is very relaxing. The food is just bar food and nothing special. The owner is terrific and makes you feel at home. If we lived in Louisville we would be regulars. Well worth the visit.

“dinner @ O'Shea's”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2012

O'Shea's was recommended as a family friendly restaurant by a staff member @ our hotel. We walked to the restaurant from our hotel. Although it is a restaurant, the lighting was low, more of an adult atmosphere, but nice environment. I ordered the stew, which was tasty, but contained very little meat. Others from my party ordered sliders, wings, salad, fish & chips and chicken tenders. The consensus was that the food was okay at best. Salad for lettuce was brown (salad was sent back & replaced) and fish was greasy. Chicken tenders were not seasoned. French fries were very tasty. Not feeling satisfied after the meal, the cost seemed a bit high, but was probably average for this type of restaurant.

“YUM”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2012

This review is for the restaurant on Main. Everything was very good; food & drinks. I had the Guinness Beef Stew (on a very hot day!) & it was soooo good! Hubby had the burger & it was also good. We would visit again & hubby said he’d have the stew!

“Pretty well your average pub”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2012

Great setting in downtown Louisville, this pub is multiple stories and open for business of drinkers! Restrooms located in the basement, a quick elevator cruise away. The second bar and large dance area is on floor 2 (which was not open while we were there 4th of July Eve). Pretty great service, pretty average food and price. Nice, historic ambiance. Music via multiple flat screens mounted on the walls.
Outdoor seating is decent, right on the street, literally 5' from the asphalt. Although there's only enough seating for one party at one table.
We've been twice; once for dinner and once for drinks. Nice place, would return!
