“Tales of Edgar Allan Poe”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2013

We visited the Frasier museum and were able to see the annual production of several of Poe's works. The museum is quite good and the production was outstanding--the interpretations of the works were well done and engaging, as was the music accompanying it.

“Informative and beautiful”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2013

The collection is contained on three floors. The main focus of the collection is weaponry. Check their website for specials. I went on a Wednesday and it was half off the regular admission and opened later than usual because of napoleon exhibition. The staff was very friendly.

“Great History of Weaponry”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2013

I didn't really research this museum much before traveling to Louisville - just read that it was a history museum - didn't realize that it was a museum on the history of weaponry. That being said, if you're into that, it's a great museum. I think my husband probably enjoyed it more than I did.

“Great history/military museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013

Unlike any other museum we've visited, it presents topics from middle ages thru the founding/westward expansion of the USA. Staff is friendly & knowledgeable, and displays contain 'real' and reproduction artifacts that are very interesting!

“Interesting, but don't go if your not planning on reading.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2013 via mobile

I have been to this museam twice, once in second grade and once this summer. It is a very nice museam, but it is very easy to rush through. Make sure you read the displays or else you won't get your money's worth. Overall, it is a very fascinating place. I escpecilly like the History of Europe and the Mythical Creatures exhibit. Wouldn't take small children, as they may get bored.
