This is an amazing new French restaurant. Guy Genoud is a charismatic gentleman from Southern France. He is bringing all his charm, wit, and French cooking to this beautifully decorated restaurant on North Hurstbourne lane. White linen tablecloths, good service, and great food are his goals. We tried the fish soup, French onion soup, and tiger shrimp for starters and all were very good. Soup was hot. We tried the beef stew, salmon, and sea bass. Al l of the dishes were cooked perfectly and seasoned well. Wednesday was lamb night and the lamb was fresh. We had the peach sorbet for dessert and it was very good with rich peach flavor. There was plenty of warm French bread with the whole meal. I would recommend reservations as this is the newest chic hotspot for Louisville. The prices were reasonable.
