We were at Bucks on a Friday night when there was several conventions and a concert was going on in downtown Louisville. Bucks was a great place to get away from all the hup-la. As soon as we walked in to the restaurant you could catch the aroma of the white flowers sitting on the bar and all around. The piano is a nice touch and from where we were sitting it was very nice back ground music. Im sure if you were sitting up closer to it you would have a hard time hearing each other talk. The salads were very good, we both the the Filet, mine was med well, his was med, both was cooked just right. When we walked in I thought we might have been a little under dressed, wearing jeans and a nice sweater, but after being sitted as I looked around I knew we were fine. Our server was very nice an helpful, she was very pleasant. I would recomend making a reservation if you are going to Bucks just to be on the safe side. I would recomend Bucks to anyone wanting an upscale, quaint, not rushed restaurant in Louisville.
